We offer a competitive total rewards package and we currently have a career opportunity for a Bilingual Sales and Service Broker in Hillsborough NB (20 minutes from downtown Moncton).

You have a strong work ethic and a positive and energetic attitude. You will bring your sales skills and your passion for helping customers to help us sell RV, classic car, boat, motorcycle, and cottage, commercial, home and auto insurance to clients. You enjoy working trade shows and events to promote and sell our products.

You are proficient in French and have your General Insurance License for New Brunswick and a minimum of 3 years’ experience in Personal Lines insurance.

Home & Auto Licensed Insurance Broker

Wayfarer Insurance Group – Stouffville, ON

Job Statement: Works with clients to place and maintain insurance coverage home and auto. Responsible for monitoring renewals as well as processing endorsements and cancellations and providing service to clients.

Key Responsibilities and Tasks:

  • Sell and service home and auto insurance (and other personal lines products) to clients
  • Identify and explain appropriate coverage to clients
  • Evaluate coverage and premiums and select the appropriate carrier based on client needs
  • Generate policies, calculate premiums and establish payment methods
  • Communicate with clients regarding existing and possible changes to coverage, in-person, by telephone or email
  • Respond to questions from clients in-person, by telephone or email
  • Report claims to the insurance company and follow up with the client
  • File applications in the appropriate location, whether paper or electronically
  • Maintain proper documentation and conversation notes and in the appropriate broker portal or Applied Epic
  • Process endorsements and cancellations at the request of clients
  • Uphold privacy standards when dealing confidential information
  • Other related duties as assigned


  • Completion of secondary school
  • Registered Insurance Broker (Ontario)
  • 3 years experience as an insurance broker
  • CAIB, CIP or other industry designations are an asset
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel
  • Familiarity with Epic or another broker management system is an asset
  • Insurer portal experience an asset
  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
  • Ability to organize, multitask, prioritize and work under pressure
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Self-starter both team and independent worker
  • Has a positive attitude and adapts well to change
  • High degree of professionalism and integrity
