Last month, we were grateful to be able to do our small part during this stressful time by donating money to support Canadian communities affected by the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. We recently completed our two month fundraising campaign for Food Bank Canada’s COVID-19 Response Fund, an initiative looking to raise $150,000,000 to support more than 3,000 community organizations that are helping Canadians everyday.
From April 20th to June 26th, we pledged to donate $1 to Food Banks Canada’s COVID-19 Response Fund for every email address we collected to help us stay connected and keep in touch with each and every one of you.
So… how much did we end up donating?
We’re happy to announce that we gave $2,500 to Food Bank Canada’s COVID-19 Response Fund to help ensure that vulnerable Canadians are still receiving vital food support during this difficult time. We could not have achieved these results without your help, so thank you so much for helping us support communities affected by this pandemic.
We would also like to give a special shout-out to Nancy Rose for winning being randomly selected to receive a $250 donation to the charity of her choice. She choice to have the donation made to the Batten Disease Foundation, a organization established to eradicate juvenile Batten disease by raising awareness and funds to accelerate research for a treatment or cure. Thank you for helping us make a small difference!
